Ana Kristina Gasteyer (born January 1, 1977) is an American singer and comedian. Her most recognizable part was that she appeared as a co-host of the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, from the year 1996 to 2002. Since then, she has appeared on sitcoms like ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto as well as the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer was studying in Northwestern University when she began her career as an actor. She began her studies as an audio-major and then switched to theater following her participation in the college's improv team. Her improv-loving spirit carried over into her supporting roles in the roles of Sheila Shay, the overly-controlling character from Suburgatory, or Karen Grisham the eccentric agent in Lady Dynamite. American Auto on NBC is where Ana Gasteyer will get the role that she has always wanted. Anabell Gardoqui de la Reguera is a Mexican actress. She was a telenovela star in TV and film shows such as Eastbound & Down on HBO, Capadocia for Amazon and Goliath. Reguera was raised in Veracruz, Mexico. She was the daughter of Nena of la Reguera was Miss Veracruz who became a journalist and TV personality. Reguera first studied classic ballet and later began studies in performance arts at Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura.
